Phyllis Logan is the wife of actor Kevin McNally.
Logan is a Scottish actress who is best regarded for her roles as Lady Jane Felsham in Lovejoy (1986–1993) and Mrs. Hughes in Downton Abbey (2010–2015).
Born January 11, 1956, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, she attended Johnstone High School.
After completing, Logan studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow where she graduated with the James Bridie gold medal in 1977.
Following her graduation, Logan joined the Dundee Repertory Theatre but left in 1979 to work on stage in Edinburgh.
Logan then got her film titled Another Time, Another Place in 1983 which she played the role of Janie.
Based on her performance, Logan won a Gold Award for Best Actress at the Taormina Film Festival and the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress in 1983, and the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer to Leading Film Roles in 1984.
Logan has since played in over 90 movies and tv shows.
Logan met her co-actor Kevin McNally in 1994 during the time they were shooting Love and Reason.
The pair married in 2011 and together they have been blessed with a son David McNally.
